Yes, the rich get richer

by M. Imperial
(Spokane, WA)

Cloning is defiantly an advance of the future, but what if all the famous horses did live forever?? So many horses would be inbred and another horse would never become the 'new' champion. No new bloodlines would ever be introduced, why would they, when the champions are going to live forever? Death is a fact of life, and there is a reason all things live or die. If people would stop breeding horses that aren't 'bettering' the breed, that would at least slow down the number of unwanted horses. Maybe if PETA wouldn't have shut down horse slaughter in the united states (where horses were humanely slaughtered, and yes slaughter is a fact of life as well). Maybe when we figure out slaughter houses and people start being responsible we can talk about cloning.
