Why is my horse so angry?

by Sydney
(Macomb, MI, USA)

I ride a 19 year old 15 hand arabian gelding. He's not very well trained and has always had problems at his canter. But lately hes been very angry when i've been riding him. He pins his ears back and bucks sometimes. I don't know why he's like this.

If this behavior just started then there is probably a medical reason for it. Maybe he is in pain somewhere. If the behavior just suddenly started, you should consult a vet and make sure that he isn't in pain before moving on to other options.
