We NEED This

Most of us here are avid horse lovers. Most of us here would do anything to save the majestic animals we love. But the fact remains: we are in a recession. More and more people are laid off and can no longer pay to keep our companions. Then what? I live very near a national forest, and I hear horror stories about horses being tied to the trees and left to die. Others are let loose into the streets to fend for themselves. "No such thing as a horse surplus" my foot. We NEED horse slaughter. I do agree in a cleaner, more humane, and more sufficient process, but we need it nonetheless.
