Water Tanks

(Galva, IL )

I cover my water tanks with a piece of plywood leaving about 2ft at one end uncovered for access. It helps keep the water cool in summer by keeping it shaded and in the winter it helps keep the heat in from the tank heater. In winter I also wrap the tank with insulation like a water heater "blanket". My horses figured out quickly where to find their water.
