Hi. My name is Chelsea. I may just be a 13 year old girl from Australia who has nothing to do with the US & Mexico etc, but if its horse related - I'll take a look - ESPECIALLY slaughter.
I read all of this article and the statistics are just shocking! Thousands, Tens of Thousands & Hundreds of Thousands of horses just used for Human consumption. This is why it needs to be stopped!
All the so called 'luxuries/food/recreational' products that use excess horse 'meat'. Their manufactures probably don't have the courage to put whats really in their products on their labels. Imagine giving you child a crayola crayon that maybe, could once been someones animal. That animal could have held trust. Happiness. Love. These horses deserve more than this crap!
If people want to get rid of their horses why not try to sell it? or free to good home? or just try to find someone who will give it all the attention, loving & affection that a horse would need. The horse may not have many uses with it's old owner, but their new owner might actually see their potential and make them something special.
We may not feel like we can do anything about this, but at least we can try! ALL YOU HORSE LOVERS - GET ON THE WAGON (expression that means join us) AND GET THIS STOPPED!
