The Sweet Treat

by Alex and Maddy
(USA)

You'll need:
5 cups of Flour (Give or take)
1 Grated Carrot
1 Banana
1 Cup of Water (Give or Take)
2 Tablespoons of Maple Syrup
4 Cups Oatmeal or Oats (Give or Take)
2 Tablespoons Sugar
A Dash of Salt
2 Cups of Honey or Molasses (Give or Take)
4 Peppermint 4 inch sticks

How:
PreHeat oven 350 degrees. Grate the carrots, smash the peppermints to about grain sized pieces, and mash the banana to form a mash. Next, add all the ingredients into a bowl. Mix them up and add more (if needed). Use your hands to really mix it up good. Spray a cookie sheet down with non-stick spray. Ball up the mix and put it on the sheet(s). Put in oven for 20 minutes (give or take) or until toothpick comes up clean. We hope your horse likes his/her Sweet Treat!

P.S. Makes 18 cookies.

my QH loves these :)
by: HorsEgirl

My QH gelding loves these treats! I couldn't find peppermint candies, so I made them without peppermint, and he loved them just as much!! I think the banana gives it a nice flavor (I even like the way they taste!) Will be making these treats again for my horse for sure.
