there animals people, not your children. I love my horses, but like my girlfriends, not all of them i want to keep forever ...do u enter a relationship with a girl saying i'm gonna want her for the rest of my life ...cant see it!

You mentioned in your sickening article "what do people do when they buy a horse & don't want it anymore?" Those types of people are sickos too. You shouldn't buy a horse, then one day just decide you don't want it anymore. Is that what people do to their children? Oh well, Johnny & Jenny aren't fun anymore, so why don't we send them off so someone can use them for their body parts. I mean really! You shouldn't own a horse or ANY animal for that matter if that's how a person is gonna treat them. It's called responsibility. And if people would geld their horses, & spay or neuter their cats & dogs there wouldn't be so many unwanted animals in this world. And Yes, people can survive without eating meat. Especially horse meat! I don't eat meat & I'm perfectly healthy! Probably healthier than you or any of the horse killers. I love my horses, dog & rabbits. And they show me just as much love as I do them. I wouldn't eat them if I was starving to death. And I've had horses that had to be euthanized before too. All you have to do is make 2 phone calls. Or 1 for those who have heavy equipment. Have a grave dug, & call the vet. If you can't afford it, then you shouldn't have an animal to start with!

Eddie Eddie'' you really should educate yourself. To start not all people are meat eaters nor have humans since the beginning of time consumed meat.. Adam and Eve never slaughtered animals.

Normal, when has anything in life been normal.. The lies these foreigners say to promote a business that they have NO competition.

The truth is they lie about everything and its sad only a few people think we are out to rule the world. We are not the ones calling horse slaughter humane. We are NOT the ones supporting foreign profits while they reward and promote irresponsible people. Breed more slaughter more.

The lie, turning horses loose is nothing new. How do you think the wild mustangs came about.. In these present times its now time for responsibility. There are now cars and trucks traveling with caring families and these organizations spreading lies are promoting the idea of turning loose these so called UN-sold horses NOT Unwanted.

These are irresponsible people that are committing a crime and should be locked up because of putting families in danger. These are NOT old sick horses and slaughter is NOT humane euthanasia; it's the sellouts say.

Dogs and Cats are humanely put down. You mention several things promoting horse slaughter, like the price of hay and double decker trailers.

Don't you realize many people buy Hay to feed horses, or it just in your neighborhood that they rather starve them because the pro slaughter freaks said that.. Geezz

If you had ever actually been to a horse slaughter house (or feed lot) and seen how horses were treated at slaugher houses (and most feed lots), you might understand why they were closed. You need to get all the facts before you contact your congressional representatives. There was no such thing as quick and humane in a horse slaughter!
