Sugar apples & grain coated carrots

by Ashley
(Maine)

You'll need:

1 apple per horse
2 carrots per horse
10 teaspoons of sugar
1/2 cup of grain
1/4 cup of honey

What to do:

First put the 10 teaspoons of sugar onto a plate. Cut of the apples into cubes and place them onto the plate. You'll need to put the plate in a sunny place and leave for 2-3 hours. While your waiting for that cover the carrots with the honey. Then sprinkle the grain on you carrots until the carrots are covered. Once the apples are done put the apple and carrots into your horses feed dish and its ready to go

*You can use as many apples and carrots as you like but remember that will change how much grain, honey and sugar you'll need.
