Seriously Sugar <3

by Lara Van Der Elst
(California)

Need:
-sugar
-egg whites
-ice cube tray

Directions:
pour sugar into bowl add as many egg whites until you get a thick consistency (should not be able to stir with spoon kind of thick) then scoop out wads of the sugar and egg and squeeze them into the ice tray, giving them a form. leave out overnight with a cloth over the top and should be hard and set by the next day, depending if the mixture is thick enough the previous night.

you put the eggs whites is then stir in sugar slowly until desired thickness. and too much sugar isn't too good because like kids it makes them hyper, thats why a ice block size treat it fine, along as you don't go feeding the horse the whole batch at the same time itl all be fine :)

THanks! I'll try that... so you put the sugar in while stirring the egg whites? or do you put the suga in first then add the egg whites and stir. I thought a lot of sugar isn't good for horses? Thnx again!

you're going to use a lot of sugar for few egg whites, finer sugar is better like white sugar. brown sugar works too but the results might not be as good. hope this helped. just add sugar and really stir it good. the more egg whites that are in it will vary the time it takes to dry
