Horse slaughter is a more difficult issue than the slaughter of other animals. Horses are thought of, here in the U.S., differently than other farm animals. I don't see a problem with horse slaughter facilities so long as they are operated by strict guidelines. I would rather see them here in the U.S. where they can be regulated. Personally, I don't think I would ever eat horse meat. |
