Palmolive Dish Soap as shampoo

by Joy mckay
(West Palm Beach Florida)

For years we have been using Palmolive Dish Soap as a shampoo daily, we live in Florida and the dirt, sweat etc causes muck itch, by washing with palmolive daily, we do not have any muck itch and I would have never believed it but it does not dry out the horses skin at all, it actually gives them a shine and rinses easily.

chewing fences
by: Anonymous

Stop the (chewing) madness!

There are many products on the market that will help deter or even stop your horses from making a snack out of your lovely wood plank fences. Instead, try a liberal drizzle of inexpensive dish soap from your local grocer over the areas of fence most frequented by your horses. You might see a lot of tongue flapping and unhappy faces in your pasture, but maybe your fences will catch a break!
Cordially,
PJ
