Kohl's Apple Stuffers

by Megan
(Belleville, ON, Canada)

Ingredients

5 whole apples
2 cups oats
1/4 cup molassas
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

HOW TO MAKE

1. Start off by removing the core of the apple.
2. In a bowl, mix the oats, molassas and honey/maple syrup.
3. Mix well so the oats are soaked in the wet ingredients.
4. Stuff the mixture of oats, molassas and honey/maple syrup in the hole created in the apple.
5. Use hands to make sure the hole created is filled with the mixture. This can be kind of messy.
6. Place apples on a plate and cover with tin foil.
7. Place in fridge for 1-2 hours or until they are going to be eaten.
8. Let your horse enjoy this sweet treat!
