Is using a small amt. of molasses in my horses daily supplement bad for her?

by Marilyn
(Barrington, IL, USA)

I feed my horse a daily supplement of Cosequin ASU. She is a picky eater and won't eat it in her feed. The vet told me to add a little molasses with water to the powder and then mix in her feed. Is giving her this small amt. of molasses daily bad for her and her teeth?

thanks

Answer: if that is what the vet told you to do, then that's what you should do.
