Is My Horse Too Old?

I know this seems like a silly question, but my horse just turned ten years old, and I just bought him. i created a poster for him on his birthday saying how much i loved him and happy birthday, and a person at my stables commented and said,
"Oh, your horse is old,"
I don't think this person meant to make me feel upset, but now I start to worry about my horse... I know this is an unreasonable question and fear, but is my horse too old?
Answer: Absolutely not!! Most horses only hit there prime at 10 years old.. Horses can live to be 30 years old or older. Your horse is now starting to be an experienced horse. The younger horses don't yet have the experience or the patience that your horse has. I wouldn't worry about that for a second...
