Is it possible for horses not to be able to make noise?

I have had a little quarter horse mare, she's four, for six months now and have never herd her nicker or whinny, or utter any sound at all! I think that maybe she can't, is this possible?

Answer: Is she around any other horses? If possible, try and get her around another horse and she will make some type of noise. If not, you should consult with your vet. There may be a reason for her not making noise. Personally, I've never seen one that didn't make some type of noise.
