It's interesting to hear a bunch of uneducated people ranting and raving about how horse slaughter is OK. I have a hard time taking someone seriously that can't even type an error-free paragraph.

If I didn't have a degree or the ability to hold down a respectable job and found myself hauling a foul smelling trailer of poor pitiful animals to a slaughter house day in and day out, I'd probably be defensive, too. It's OK, I know college isn't for everyone. That's why we have Wal-Mart; for people like you. Go put in an application! I'm sure they won't turn you down if you have a pulse and can put your name tag on straight.

Any feeling, intelligent person can realize that animals shouldn't suffer at our expense. Animals ran this world before we came in and started messing with THEIR land, THEIR environment, and started making them work for us. If anything, we owe them great thanks for all they've helped us accomplish through history, and the joy they bring people every day.

Making horses live out their last days in pain, starving, crammed in with thousands of other horses is just wrong. They are intelligent creatures that sense danger, fear, and know what's coming.

It makes me sick to think of the red-neck scum bags that beat these horses onto trailers with no concerns. In my opinion, someone so heartless should be euthanized themselves.

I get that there are unwanted horses in the world, but listen here, there are unwanted HUMANS in this world, too! So should we start slaughtering children in orphanages, just because they're unwanted? I don't think so. Why not put your energy into opening more rescues, more donation farms where people who can no longer afford their beloved horses can hand them over to a place where they will be cared for, and eventually re-homed.

For all you people arguing that horse slaughter is OK, that's fine, everyone is entitled to an opinion, but before you post something calling US stupid, use spell-check.
