Native American Indian Horse Names.

Indian horse names are some of my favorite names. Native American Indians took great pride in their horses. They painted their war horses and hunting horses with symbols of pride and good luck.

Some of the first tribes that used horses where the tribes that spread throughout Mexico and Texas.

The use of the horse made the lives of these Native American tribes much easier. Buffalo hunting became a much simpler task.

The impact of the horse on Indians was tremendous. Many Indian names also begin to incorporate the word "horse" into them. One of the most famous names was "Crazy Horse".
