Humane

by Tyler
(Nebraska)

Sure horses are living and breathing animals, but were they not put on this earth by god to help the humans? Or do you not believe in god?

How come is it humane to butcher cows pigs goats and sheep for human consumption but try to eat a horse and all of the sudden you are inhumane?

I would be willing to bet a large sum that most of the horses slaughtered are no longer useful. And if you think it is wrong to slaughter horses for human consumption why cant you just close the slaughter houses that slaughter horses for human consumption?

I love horses just as much as any body but tell me this, what do you do with an old horse that has bad teeth, a swayed back and is no longer useful? If you were rich you could buy special feed for it and keep it in a box stall until it ends its life. But to many times in that same situation the owner is not rich the horse winds up unfed and uncared for and starves to death wondering what it did to deserve such a poor life. That is what is inhumane.
