How often should I worm my horse?

I live in Zanesville,OH and I board my horse. I wanted to know how often should I worm my horse and what kind of paste wormers should I use?

Answer: You should worm your horses about every 3 months. I use Ivermectin paste the first and second time and the third time, I use Zimectrin Gold.

worming

Most wormers are becoming resistant - I had started using a daily feed grade d/e (Diatomaceous Earth) It has to be food grade! 1C daily in there feed for Horses and then worm with Ivermectin paste for horses. This not only keeps their insides clean of parisites inside, it helps with sand and any toxins in their bodies. For more info you can e-mail me:

Good Luck,
