Horse Slaughtering is wrong.

by Amber Jacobson
(Brookfield, Wisconsin)

I believe everyone has their right to express your opinions its only fair, no matter how young i may be i have a voice and it should be heard. Horse slaughtering is wrong, Very wrong. Put yourself in a horses position. Would you want to be shot in the head, would you want to be shipped off to another country only to face the end of your life. No you wouldn't. Imagine how the horses feel when they feel unwanted, unloved. Imagine their fear and their sadness. They have feelings too. Their very very smart animals that deserve to be treated with respect and love. Who in their right minds could ever want to kill an innocent horse, thats like killing an innocent man, who did no harm to you, who you have never met in your life. Animal cruelty is terrible, and should be stopped, their should be laws against killing animals and that includes all animals. Next time a man who slaughters a horse should stop to think, there is a story behind this horse. Look at the fear in their eyes and know that they are making the wrong decision. God put these wonderful creatures on this planet for a reason, and people want to destroy that. Think about how it would feel to be shot in the head and hung by your legs while your still alive, it wouldn't feel to good. So why would you want too do it to a horse?
You have a voice, stand up for what you believe in!
