Horse slaughter- Unecessary & cruel!

I've been doing research on horse slaughter for the past few months & have discovered how horrible & inhumane it really is.

First of all, I can't understand why someone would kill a horse at all, unless it was being humanely euthanized due to a life threatening injury. What's worse is that the people ( if you wanna call them that) don't put them down humanely. The horses suffer a slow, agonizing,& painful death.

Secondly, there is no need to eat, or use any part of a horse for personal pleasure. These horses have served their owners faithfully, or were obtained illegally, just to be tortured & killed.

I'm appalled at the lack of feelings or compassion these killers have. And now people are stealing horses out of others pastures & stalls only to be found cut up & beheaded for horse meat on the black market! Horse slaughter sickens me. And I can't even put into words how I feel about the people that allow this to happen. I honestly wish those people had to be loaded, hauled with 1000 other horse killers, stuck cheek to cheek for hours on a nasty hot or freezing trailer, then tortured & still half alive when they were strung up by one leg getting cut up piece by piece. Would they still like slaughter then?

And for those who say they don't have any other choice because their horse is sick or injured or just too old to ride anymore- that's just pure laziness & lack of concern for your animal. Call a vet & have them humanely euthanized!!!
