butterscotch soup

ingredients:
1 spearmint candy
5 butterscotch candies
4 cups water
1/2 cup bran
1 apple, sliced
karo syrup
corn oil

heat water and wait for it to come to a boil. drop in the candies. stir constantly to prevent them from sticking to the bottom of the pan. once they are melted, pour the water in a large bowl. stir in bran and apple. add a dash of karo syrup and corn oil. serve to your horse warm. this is best for a chilly winter day!
