AQHA Debates on Horse Cloning

by Judy H.
(Amarillo, TX)

I think it is awful that aqha is even considering letting cloned horses be registered. I do not understand why they would want to contribute to the problem of so many unwanted horses.

The horse market is already down the tubes right now. You can hardly give them away. When people are able to clone and register these high dollar horses, the problem will only get worse. Pretty soon people like us, with just regular horses, wont be able to register them, because they wont be good enough.

I think this is yet another way for the big wigs to make even more money. That's what is wrong with our country today. There is to much greed in the world. People have lost sight of the true meaning of life. These animals are commodities they are living, breathing beings, with feelings.

I think all members of AQHA should let their feelings be known. Contact them and tell them exactly how you feel about this subject. You can bet I will!!!!!
