The Andalusian Horse
The Andalusian horse is officially known as a purebred Spanish horse. They are one of the oldest breeds of horses in the world today.
They have been used for all sorts of riding and were the preferred horse breed of Kings over many centuries. They excel in high school dressage and are used in cattle work and bullfighting in their native Spain. They are highly intelligent and learn very quickly. The Andalusia is esteemed for it’s quality and appearance. They are strongly built, compact and usually stand between 15 - 16 hands tall. They are usually gray, there are also purebreds that are bay, black and chestnut.
